I was inspired the simplistic style and fun accessoriesing by the street style from Streetpeeper.com. Here are a few of the pictures:

Veronica's 3 Yellow Things by Carvin

With former Givenchy designer Guillaume Henry now in charge, Carven, a French house from the 1940's,  is a brand I want to know more about. 

His spring 2012 runway show was cheeky and interesting, described by Nicole Phelps on style.com as: "Leather harnesses on top of dresses or underneath jackets recalled lederhosen; colorful prints inspired by native embroideries appeared on baby dolls, shirtdresses, and a striking off-the-shoulder pleated look. Bells jangled on the heels of sandals."  Bells on sandals!  Lederhosen!

When looking thru his collection, the yellow pieces were my fav.  My top 3:

1. Yellow shoes!

2. Yellow shorts!

3. Yellow leather!

Supplies:

- Large eyeglass/sunglass case

- Bead (s)

- 3 flat metal pieces

- Rhinestone (or whatever!) trim
- 3 ring blanks

- Super glue/E 6000

- Jewelry pliers

Trend Session: Collars by Annalise

I just can't get enough of the collar trend! Who knew that collars could be so versatile and varied. You can have a rounded or pointy collar, tiny collars and exadurated collars. Collars can come in all sorts of colors and look great when they contrast with the color of the shirt. I love to see a cute collar peeking from a dress or sweater. How do you wear the collar trend?
